I'm back!

Hello everyone,

I've been away for awhile to prepare my viva and complete my dissertation and I'm swarmed with a lot of questions on how did I come out with the letter 'M' in the post prior to this..Well, I'll share the tips after I've finished composing a post on that..Below is the card that I made for a friend who shares the same passion as me..

He helped me buying some awesome Lego pieces..

Haven't bought a new camera, so pardon me for having poor quality of pictures here and also in the incoming posts..

Thanking a veterinarian

My kitten had his right eye removed on 13/10/2012 and he was hospitalised for six days..I made this card to thank the vet and her staff who took care of him well..That explains the cat on it (=^_^=) 
 

So what did I do with the cat?

Despite its normal look, I added the bow tie as my kitten is a tomcat..

If you notice, I also put a little mouth under its nose (perhaps you can't see the nose as it's black in colour too)..More like the cat sticking his tongue out..Thehehehe..

A colleague of mine called me one night and requested a terima kasih card to be given to her son's school for his outstanding achievement in the exam (as he's moving to one of the top-notch boarding schools in Malaysia)..She left everything to me so I came out with this card..

Another butterfly

I recently received my book royalty from the publisher..Therefore, I made this card to thank a person who gave me a chance to come out with the book..I used to have little birds to send out messages, but now the task was handed to the butterfly as I want the birdies to rest for a while (^__^)

Many people asked how I did my butterflies, together with the swirls in my previous post, but I didn't have the chance to demonstrate how I make them..Will definitely do so when I have the time as I'm kinda busy doing a lot of things right now..I'm a perfectionist and I don't like to do things in a rush..So better save the best for the last..

Hope you also like this butterfly..

It's actually pink in colour, but after the editing I dunno why it turned out to be this way..
