New year, new flower

Created this flower weeks ago, but only had the chance to post it today..

Now I present to you..The "Zig zag" flower..

I myself don't know whether we have a real flower that looks like this..But when I went to Miyyah's house and browsed through Jane Jenkins's book, I was inspired by some of her awesome techniques..I combined it with some of my ideas and that's how I came out with this flower..

The petals are made with layers of single strips to create the zig zag effect..Then, I use the tear drop coils to fill in all the gaps..
